Jason Kisogloo – Ballroom / Latin
Born and raised into Musical Family in South Africa, Jason Kisogloo the founder of The Xplosive Dance Inc, began his competitive dancing career at the young age of fourteen. He went on to eventually become the Rock ‘n Roll, and Hustle Undefeated rising star National Champion of South Africa, consecutively winning every title possible, whilst moving up the ranks on the International Latin Arena, winning every consecutive pre-championship latin competition.
After being promoted to the Amateur Latin status he ranked in the top six couples in South Africa before moving to London in 2001. Jason whilst competing in South Africa also performed in thousands of shows, from restaurants, corporates events to Television, and music videos. March 2001, he moved to London to further his dance career training with the best dance teachers in the world, to name a few: Karen Hardy, Goran Nordin, Nicola Nordin, Carmen Vincelj, Barbara McCol, June McMurdo, Matthew Cutler, and Lynn Harmen.
He competed in every major event in the United Kingdom from small Sunday Circuit competitions to all the Major Internationally sort after events, achieving great results while performing in hundreds of shows across the U.K. corporate events to promotions and feature films…In 2009 he turned professional and moved to Singapore and after only six weeks of training with his new partner, was placed sixth in the Taiwan International Professional Latin Championships. Sixth months later due to residency issues moved back to London.
June 2010, Jason completed his professional teaching Qualification with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA), where he achieved the highest results for that year and was offered the Giles Bursary Award for outstanding Achievement. Before retiring from competitive dancing, in 2012 he was a place in the top 6 in UK Closed (Finalist).
With all this experience and talent he founded the Xplosive Dance Inc to pass on his talent and experience to others and at the same time entertain the world.
Additionally we have multiple external instructors both male and female whom we work with, who could be provided if needed.
